This project was completed at Centre Orphelinat Tumaini (C.O.T) in 2022. Through your support and generosity we were able to repaint the interior of the orphanage and in so doing, repair some of the damage caused over time. The children of C.O.T can now live in and enjoy a space that looks good and fosters their overall well-being.

Centre Orphelinat Tumaini (C.O.T) has been caring for children at their current location in Lubumbashi, DRC, since 2001. This project is to help restore a clean and beautiful space where the 53 children that C.O.T cares for can flourish. Countless studies show a direct correlation between a clean environment and ones physical and mental health, as well as ones overall well-being. NAKUONA e.V. desires to improve the quality of life for the orphans at C.O.T by helping to repair the walls and repaint the interior of the orphanage and in so doing improve their living condition.
Years of use has left its imprint of the building where COT is housed, with your help, we can repair the damage time has done. Due to local conditions in the economy of the DRC prices are unstable; the target for this project may therefore be subject to increase.
