This project was completed at Centre Orphelinat Tumaini (C.O.T) in 2023. Through your generosity and unwavering support we were able to renovate the toilets and showers, providing the children with beautiful, clean and functioning, hygiene facilities. COT was built in 2001 and since then, through daily use the building has deteriorated and is in desperate need of renovation. There are only two showers and two toilets that cater for 53 children, plus adults. NAKUONA e.V. would like to help improve the hygiene condition at this orphanage by building new lavatory facilities thus doubling the amount of toilets and showers currently available; allowing for separate areas for girls and boys.
